Who is PDJ? Since 1985, Paul D. Johnson has been a real estate investor, investment coach and CA real estate brokerwho specializes in real estate financing, management and development. Up until 1985, Paul had worked as a corporate financial and computer systems consultant in Los Angeles for 13 years.Because he also made successful investments in securities and real estate, in 1985, he was able to leave corporate life to devote his full attention to investing his own assets.Others began asking Paul for investment advice.This led Paul to begin helping them make successful investments that yield substantial income and profit.
Beginning in 1990, for two years, Paul hosted a bi-weekly television program, The Real Estate Alternative, for KWHY-22, The Business Channel in Los Angeles (and various other cable channels).He has been a featured guest on many radio shows and on CNBC's daily national television Smart Money show.His articles on real estate investing have appeared in various newspapers and newsletters and his seminars have been given at colleges, corporations and public meetings.He created the nationally distributed, 60-minute audio program, The Trust Deed and Mortgage Investor's Quick-Start Consumer Guide: What You Need to Know Before Ever Investing.
Today, much of Paul's professional time is spent "down in the trenches" of real estate investment as he researches dozens of properties, trust deeds and loan requests in search for high-return trust deed investmentsfor his private investor clients.
Paul holds a Bachelors and Masters of Science degree in engineering and economics from UCLA.He is also a graduate of UCLA's Personal Financial Planner Program.
